Terms of use

Terms of use

Effective 8 September 2026. By downloading or using Image Routine you agree to these terms and to Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which applies to every app on the Mac App Store.

Licence

Tallbot Technology grants you a personal, non-transferable licence to use Image Routine on any Mac you own or control, as permitted by the App Store usage rules. The app is free. You may not reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute it.

Your content

You own the images you process. Image Routine never modifies a source file and never transmits your images anywhere. You are responsible for having the right to use and edit the images you open, and for checking exported files before you rely on them.

No warranty

Image Routine is provided “as is”. We do not promise that it will be error-free, that every format will be available on every Mac (some encoders depend on your macOS version), or that automatic foreground removal will be accurate for a given image. Keep your originals.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Tallbot Technology is not liable for any loss of data, profit or opportunity arising from use of the app. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other laws that cannot be excluded.

Updates and changes

We may release updates that change or remove features. We may update these terms; the effective date above will change and material changes will be noted in the release notes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no obligation to provide support or maintenance for the app.
